Join the call as we help AZMLK Festival the annual Arizona Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Festival will be held at Margaret T. Hance Park from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. This family friendly festival is an event for the community to enjoy local entertainment, purchase goods and services from small businesses, and to learn about community service organizations, like the Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals. During the festival, volunteers will be talking with festival attendees about GPUL opportunities such as the Summer Youth Program, and about YP membership and upcoming events. All materials, promotional material, and talking points will be provided to volunteers.
Interested volunteers should register for a volunteer shift(s). Volunteer shifts are available from 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Each shift is in 1 hour increments. You are welcome to sign up for multiple shifts.
Optional Attire: YP swag* (T-Shirt, Jacket, Hat, etc..), comfortable shoes. This is a rain or shine event, so please pay attention to weather forecasts and dress appropriately.
